"Between gourmandise, freshness and digestibility!"

"La Compagnie des Papillons is composed of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. A beautiful expression of fresh fig and wild raspberry on the nose. The palate is slender, with a fine grain of tannin. Finishes with a sensation of white pepper and laurel". (Le Guide RVF 2024)

About the wine:

La Compagnie des Papillons is a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. A beautiful expression of fresh fig and wild raspberry on the nose. The palate is slender, with a fine grain of tannin. Finishes with a sensation of white pepper and laurel.

About the domain :

Arthur and Eddy Bertrand arrived at Belesta in 2020 to take over from previous owners Eric and Lèia Monné. Originally from Provence, these two brothers had the idea of taking over a human-scale estate in the Mediterranean basin. Le Clot de l'Oum was an obvious choice for them, with vines over 20 years old on 12 hectares. The major advantage? A location at altitude, between 300 and 600 meters. Passionate about the terroirs of Roussillon, their wines express the typical characteristics of Mediterranean grape varieties on schist, granite and gneiss terroirs. In the cellar, they use very little sulfur. They work without fining or filtration, using indigenous yeasts.
