About the domain :
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Estate rated (2008 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
"Under Jérôme Malet's impetus, this estate, which was a pioneer of quality in the region, has returned to the highest level in a racy, well-balanced style. Today, it produces some of the most elegant wines in Roussillon, both dry and sweet. The prestige cuvée Terroir Mailloles, never excessive but the most woody of all, shows great depth and textural finesse in both white and red wines. This harmony is also found in Rivesaltes, both vintage and long-aged wines.
The wines: Terroir Mailloles 2005 white is still marked by its ageing, with fine buttery notes, but has great potential and should be kept for another good year. In red, this cuvée remains the estate's finest. Delicious Muscat de Rivesaltes, full of fruit and perfectly balanced, while La Carbasse 2005 is in the vein of the great vintages".
