"This golden, coppery Triple, one of the first Triples from Champagne-Ardennes, is topped with an imposing mousse. The nose is very expressive, with ripe yellow fruits followed by toasted cereals. On the attack, the effervescence is lively, then the texture unfolds, full and warm on the palate, taking up all the space. The malt base is clearly present. Candied and cooked fruit flavors dominate, followed by spices (cloves, pepper). The sweetness doesn't take over, and the peppery finish is surprisingly long-lasting.
