Domaine Blard et Fils
A family of winegrowers for 5 generations in the commune of Les Marches in Savoie, Les Blard & Fils are faithful to family traditions but also open to modernity. Jean-Noël and his son Thomas produce 10 hectares of Savoie protected designation of origin wines: Savoie, Apremont, Abymes, Roussette, Arbin, as well as Crémant and Vin de France.

Situated in the foothills of the Chartreuse massif, this family estate produces mainly white Savoy wines for the pleasure of our taste buds. Fresh and generous, the wines have a beautiful expression and are made for gastronomy. So it's a pleasure to find Domaine Blard & Fils wines on the finest Michelin-starred and bistro tables.

With the recent arrival of Thomas on the estate, new cuvées are being created, such as Malvoisie and Crémant de Savoie.
Jacquère, Altesse, Monduese noire and Pinot noir, among others, blossom naturally to create wines that reflect their terroir.
The Savoyard vineyards are currently undergoing further restructuring.
Numerous plots of Jacquère (the dominant Savoyard grape variety) are grubbed up to be replanted with Altesse in the Roussette de Savoie appellation.
More beautiful things to come...

altesse
purity

Dominique and Thomas Blard execute this Roussette as a wine of balance and structure. The attack is soft, dominated by notes of rose and hawthorn. The mid-palate is dominated by the power of this rich, full-bodied varietal, with notes of grilled pineapple and almond and a long, smooth finish. Over time, the wine will evolve towards honey flavors, but in the meantime, it's a wonderful aperitif.

pinot noir
fruity
round-tipped

A tribute cuvée to the family's grandfather, this Savoy Pinot Noir is full-bodied, already very seductive, and should be cellared for 5 to 8 years if you wish. Rose and blackcurrant buds, elderberry and morello cherry, tobacco and vanilla, make our mouths water. Crisp, supple, red-fruited and well-structured, it delights the palate and is sure to enhance our moments of conviviality! We're already very fond of this Pierre Emile.

The old vines express themselves wonderfully in this "special" Jacquère made for gastronomy. Almost minty, the wine is precise and mineral on the palate, with notes of zan, stone fruit, white flowers, pear and citrus. Fine acidity and salinity on the finish add complexity and length. Our palate is delighted from start to finish. A real marvel!

On the limestone scree of Mont Granier, "les Abymes" refers to the catastrophe that buried the village in 1248. Que nénies! A classified Savoy Cru since 1973, Micraster here reveals all the personality and potential of Jacquère: a nose of flint and floral aromas, a precise, mineral palate of white flowers, citrus and white-fleshed fruit. A chiselled wine with a lovely bitter finish, it's good and it leaves you wanting more! Limited quantities available.
