"A Malbec with great potential!"

This grand cuvée offers a blossoming nose of red and black fruits, with lovely subtle woody notes. Peppery and licorice-flavored, the complex and refined palate presents noticeable tannins on the finish, which is enchantingly long. This triple gold medal winner will be the ideal companion for a delicious duck breast with orange sauce!

Bettane & Desseauve

3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Alain-Dominique Perrin has worked hard to make the magnificent Lagrézette estate one of the flagships of Cahors' revival. The progress made since the renovation of the cellar is clear to see: the wines have gained in elegance and the fruit is better highlighted by the aging process. We particularly appreciate the château and clos-marguerite vintages, which are remarkable this year.

About the estate:

A flagship estate in the Cadurcian vineyards, acquired in 1985 by businessman Alain-Dominique Perrin. It is renowned for the distinctive architecture of its 16th-century manor house, with its pepperpot towers, sloping roofs, and dovecote; for its wine-growing heritage (82 hectares), dating back to the 16th century; and above all for its ambitious wines, which are regularly featured in these pages.
