Wine rated (guide 2021) 92/100 Favorite

Domaine rated (guide 2021) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

This Semillon, aged 24 months in barrels and then 12 in vats, has all the amplitude of the great southern whites, with a twirling energy linked to a fiery freshness.

About the domain :

When Jean-Mary and Catherine Le Bihan took over the family farm, they opted for the Duras hillsides. And they were right to do so, as they have raised the estate to one of the best in the South-West. In this appellation, which is struggling to emerge, this estate, using a common grape variety, produces original cuvées, pleasant to drink young or made for ageing, such as the superb Perrette et les Noisetiers 2014, tasted in magnum. Clémence, one of their daughters, has joined them.
