About the wine:

Loin de l'oeil (70%) and Muscadelle are combined in this masterful, golden-colored Gaillac, opening with sustained, complex aromas of candied lemon, spices, honey and white flowers. The palate is also highly aromatic, combining intense concentration, great richness, imposing volume and fine freshness in perfect harmony.

About the domain :

Florentin and Andrée Vayssette, the grandparents, settled in 1930 on the Chemin des Crêtes in Gaillac. Jacques, their son, and Maryse took over from them. Then their grandson Patrice and his wife Nathalie joined them to run the estate's 29 ha of vines, which have been awarded the "Haute valeur Environnementale" label. A sure bet in the appellation.
