Domaine du Boiron
Domaine du Boiron, located in the commune of Astaffort in the Lot et Garonne region, is owned by Francis Cabrel, and managed by his brother Philippe. The two men have breathed new life into this ancient estate, while respecting the authenticity of the vineyard.
Domaine du Boiron 's vineyard covers just over 9 hectares of clay-limestone terroir, planted mainly with Merlot, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The best care, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, is given to producing racy, authentic wines. The vineyard is currently undergoing conversion to organic farming, with some plots already certified.
Domaine de Boiron wines are available in four cuvées, three reds and one rosé. These full-bodied, well-made wines are enjoying growing success.

14,5/20 Bettane & Desseauve
"Dark color, deep, dense nose of black fruits, the palate is creamy, solidly supported by an imposing tannic framework. A serious wine" (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2014). A red characterized by beautiful spicy notes on the nose and fullness on the palate, with a delicate mineral note, signature of the terroir. A must-try!
