Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 92/ 100
Domaine rated (2021 guide) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the wine:
Beautiful aromatics, honey, brioche, hazelnut, candied fruit and citrus, rich and very interesting, also very rich on the palate, with fatness, mellowness and good vivacity on the finish. A good compromise between a dry and a mellow Jurançon. Great personality.
About the domain :
This is the most important private estate in Jurançon, and the most widely distributed brand in fine restaurants and luxury wine shops. Henri Ramonteu has perfected the small-scale production of sweet wines, with their spectacular bouquet and fascinating length on the palate. All share the house style: pure fruitiness and concentration balanced by the vivacity typical of the region. All the best.

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated (guide 2024) 91/100 (Wonderful wine)
About the wine:
Made exclusively from Petit Manseng harvested in November, Domain Cauhapé's La Canopée 2020 reveals aromas of vanilla bean, spices and ripe orchard fruit, followed by a medium-bodied, full-bodied palate, fragrant but a little woody for my taste.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 93/100
Domain rated (guide 2022) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Wine Enthusiast)
About the wine:
Harvested in November and fermented dry, this wine is overwhelmingly intense. The presence of Petit Manseng gives it notes of honey. The wine has weight and richness, and is now ready to drink.
