"Last year of organic conversion for this vintage, fermented and aged in 300L oak barrels, where Sauvignon reigns supreme. The wood is hardly noticeable in this wine, which seduces with its assertive minerality, with accents of gunflint. "A real treat!

"A fine star for this blend of Merlot (45%), Malbec (30%) and Cabernet Franc. After twelve months in oak, it boasts a dense, dark color and reveals an elegant nose, blending well-mixed breeding notes with floral nuances and a hint of undergrowth. Not to be outdone, the palate is structured, full-bodied and fresh at the same time, supported by pleasant tannins and good acidity, woody without excess, showing real power for the vintage and the appellation". "A must-see

"Luckily for the estate, the Merlot (50%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Malbec that make up this cuvée, aged 18 months in barrels, were little affected by the frost. Fans of this renowned cuvée will therefore find a successor to the 2016, the superb Favorite of the previous edition. While it lacks the body and potential of its predecessor, it is appreciated for its finesse and aromatic expression, between morello cherry and well-fused roasted wood. Fresh and fragrant on the palate, it reveals mellow, vanilla-flavored tannins that are a little lively and austere on the finish". (Guide Hachette). The power of the Southwest!

"Benjamin and Quentin, the "Frangins flingueurs", have pulled out all the stops with this Périgord red, which breaks away from the house "canon" by focusing solely on Cabernet Sauvignon. "Brutal"? As the label, which echoes the cult film, suggests? Yes, if you mean color, power and density. In the glass, you'll also find ripe fruit and a hint of spice. This white Montavel is a fine, racy wine with a floral character. The palate is round, supple and fat, with the mineral freshness of the terroir, finely spiced, with good length and surprising freshness. 100% immediate pleasure!

Château Moulin Caresse - Magie d'Automne 2012 (Moelleux)

From a south-facing plateau of boulbènes on ferruginous clay, this light yellow moelleux has a fine, elegant nose, with hints of pear, quince and white flowers. An unctuous white that retains good freshness, rich on the palate without being syrupy, with nuances of white fruit and apricot... A lovely treat!

This Haut-Montravel is immediately fine and elegant, offering beautiful nuances of pear, quince and white flowers. A smooth, mellow white that retains a good freshness, rich on the palate without being syrupy, with white fruits and apricot. A very elegant treat!
