Moulin Caresse Castle
Château Moulin Caresse has been a family estate since 1749, located 20 km east of Saint-Emilion. The Château Moulin Caresse vineyard covers 52 hectares, including 34 hectares of vines, overlooking the Dordogne valley from a height of 80 meters.

The vineyards of Château Moulin Caresse are divided between clay-limestone hillsides and the Boulbènes plateau, which is oriented towards the sun. This privileged location, the variety of terroirs and grape varieties allow the production of AOC Montravel wines, among others, which are as different as they are complementary. Managed by Jean-François Deffarge, the vineyards of Château Moulin Caresse are cultivated using sustainable methods, without herbicides, worked under the rows and grassed. This care allows Château Moulin Caresse to produce, among other things, sumptuous Montravel, a very young appellation of which Jean-François Deffarge is already the best representative.
