Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2019 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)
About the wine:
Fresh aromas of flowers and white fruit emerge from the glass, and this wine has great presence on the palate, with all the vivacity and vigor of the appellation's wines. Perfect as an aperitif.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (2019 guide) 2** Stars (Outstanding wine)
Domain rated (guide 2021) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
A very expressive dry Pacherenc (white flowers, nuts, citrus, toasted oak), full-bodied, dense, fresh and long on the palate. A very complete wine.
About the domain :
Château d'Aydie is a family affair (and a sure bet): four Laplace children are now following in the footsteps of their grandfather Frédéric, who was one of the first to sell bottled Madiran, with the help of André Daguin, the famous Gascon chef. The 62-hectare farm has now been joined by a trading structure.

Time has increased its aromatic complexity tenfold, with notes of pineapple, floral honey and candied lemon... Soft, fresh attack, powerful mid-palate. Very long acid/bitter finish. superb
