This Pécharmant gracefully expresses a depth of scent with notes of spices and red fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy, with notes of red fruit and spices, and a fresh, light finish. Florent Barichard embodies the new generation of winemakers who are thrilling the appellations with their know-how and boldness. It's a real "coup de coeur", a quality/price ratio rarely achieved!

Expert opinion
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine noté (guide 2016) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
At the age of 31, Vincent Alexis embodies the new generation of winegrowers who are driving the Bergerac region. Until his arrival at Domaine de Pompois in 2009, his parents sold the entire production in bulk. The young man, who has worked at estates around the world, has changed course to bottle Bergeracs, Pécharmants and Monbazillacs. He is gradually converting his 42 hectares to organic production, and signed his first vintage in 2010. Close to the fruit and without make-up, the reds are lightly extracted and easily digestible, the spontaneity of the dry whites delights us and the sweet whites reveal elegant, refreshing sugars. Delicious bottles for tasteful bistro chefs. Spotted in 2011 in our Guide rouge des bonnes affaires du vin, Vincent Alexis confirms his progress and fully deserves his place in this year's green guide.
