In 2003, Franck Decouroux took over the reins of the Peyrel Castle which is once again a vineyard. Located north-west of Bergerac, the vineyard stretches along the right bank of the Dordogne.

Made from old vines of local grape varieties, Château de Peyrel produces AOC Rosette and Bergerac wines in the pure Bergerac tradition.
