"The 2018 Grain Pinot Charrat is fresh, precise and spicy on the nose but also a little fleshy and open. On the palate, it's ripe, lush and solidly structured pinot with a fresh, saline finish, woody tannins and chocolate flavors.." (Wine Advocate 2020 - Stephan Reinhardt)

About the wine:
Grain Pinot Charrat 2018 is fresh, precise and spicy on the nose but also a little fleshy and open. On the palate, it's ripe, lush and solidly structured pinot with a fresh, saline finish, woody tannins and chocolate flavors. This is an unfiltered version, but there's also a filtered version, which Marie-Thérèse reports tastes less woody. I'll be tasting this wine at some point. Tasted at Fully estate in January 2020.
