James Suckling
"[...] Remarkable freshness for an exceptionally warm vintage. Lots of Amalfi lemon fruit and a slightly salty mineral freshness for those with patience. Long, earthy, herbaceous finish. Drink now, but preferably from 2025." (James Suckling). This Riesling Grand Cru surprises, tantalizes and delights the senses with its mineral structure and delicate yellow fruit notes.

Food and wine pairing
In addition to his natural pairings with Alsatian cuisine, he gracefully underscores the iodized flavors of seafood and loves the language of salt: seafood, sea or freshwater fish, sushi, sashimi, but also white meats with cream and mushrooms, goat's or ewe's milk cheeses, soft cheeses (comté, old gouda, parmesan)...

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the domain :
With courage and discipline, Céline and Isabelle Meyer manage the estate long run by their father Jean. Biodynamic viticulture shines through in wines with airy, pure, fresh, chiselled mouthfeel. The estate's two favorite grands crus are Hengst and Brand, where Riesling shines particularly brightly. Pinot Gris is part of a long tradition of dry wines, unfortunately not so common in Alsace.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (guide 2021) 94/100
About the wine:
Spicy aromas and flavors, more restrained, to which a fine noble bitterness brings relief and vivacity.
