"Awarded 100/100 by Wine Advocate—a stunning Malbec that goes far beyond the grape variety: one of Argentina's finest wonders in very limited quantities!"

"The Adrianna Vineyard River 2021, from a cold year when whole clusters fermented in concrete with a slightly shorter maceration and aging in a 2,000-liter oak cask and the rest in stainless steel, has its usual stony austerity. It has a moderate alcohol content of 13.4%, very high acidity (8.2!), and a low pH (3.37), incredible parameters of freshness. The wine was closed and took time to open up in the glass, revealing a very elegant and subtle personality, with the silky texture of very fine tannins, immaculate aromas and flavors, and a sense of harmony that was moving. It is a powerful but extremely elegant wine, with that rare combination of power and energy, a light, airy wine with ethereal, delicate, and refined qualities. This wine combines the freshness of the location and high altitude, the cool year, and the stony soils to produce a stunning Malbec that goes far beyond the grape variety. Bravo! 2024-2040" (Wine Advocate 2023)

About wine:

The Malbec Adrianna Vineyard River 2021 comes from a small stony plot nestled in an old riverbed in Gualtallary, in the Uco Valley, at an altitude of 1,400 meters. It has been carefully aged for 16 months in oak barrels and concrete vats. It has a purple color with bright highlights. The nose offers seductive notes of sage and rocket, complemented by chamomile, lavender, and huacatay, against a backdrop of wild rose and crushed plums. This Malbec has a dry, crisp profile reminiscent of Pinot Noir, with a sense of nervousness and tension and a silky texture. Refreshing notes and juicy flow linger, creating a harmonious experience. This red wine combines precise harvest timing with a magnificent 2021 vintage that accentuates its primary profile. 2025-2040

About wine:

A complete set of red fruits with a hint of black olives, spices, wet stones, and hibiscus. The palate is medium-bodied to full-bodied, very pure, transparent, and juicy. Very elegant and subtle, with a long finish. Very refined. Complex but discreet and Pinot-esque for a Malbec. 100% whole clusters. Drink now or cellar.
