Ripe and well-balanced, this Brouilly 2022 is a definite success. Although it emphasizes fruit and freshness, it has a lovely body and round, velvety tannins that unfold a crisp juice of red berries, enhanced by a pinch of spice and vegetal nuances that continue in fine volume to a medium finish, provided with a fine, invigorating acidity. Built for the everyday table, this pleasant, easily digestible Gamay is ideal with a Charolais and Cantal burger and home fries. Score = 3.9.
