Notes: Robert Parker 91/100, RVF 16/20
Gamay expresses itself beautifully on this soil of disintegrated sandstone and granite, exposed to the southeast halfway up the hillside. Morgon La Voûte Saint-Vincent is a wine that opens with aromas reminiscent of small red fruits: blueberry and blackberry. It has good length with fairly pronounced tannins. A Morgon of choice!

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3 stars (These represent the excellence of French vineyards. The best terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wine is always a magical moment.)
About the estate:
Anyone who has tasted a wine from the brotherly duo Claude-Emmanuelle and Louis-Benoît Desvignes has experienced a special emotion. Here, the aesthetic quest focuses on the subtle expression of the terroir (mainly in Morgon), the right blend depending on the vintage, and the wine's aging potential, achieved through careful viticulture, sensitive winemaking that eschews dogma, and refined aging without wood. The third star has been pinned to the estate's jacket for several years now, and given the consistency and coherence of the range, we suspect it will remain there for many years to come.

Very rich and complex, it needs to be left to age for another 2-3 years or decanted for a good hour to be fully appreciated. The overripe fruit is very noticeable in this sunny vintage. Delicious and intense.
