"Morgon Les Impénitents 2023 is made from the Domaine's oldest vines, planted in 1912 or 1914. The nose is marked by notes of black fruit, licorice and graphite. This wine is very complex and beautifully defined, one of the most cerebral aromatic profiles of this vintage. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine, slightly chalky tannins. Black fruits mingle with black tea and black olive, leading to a structured, serious finish. Try to resist temptation and give it a few years to settle in - this bottling rewards patience." Cuvée Javernières comes from the same Côte du Py climate, but from the southern foothills of the hill. A Morgon with aromas of blood orange, peach and floral notes. The palate is greedy, round, with fine tannins and an impression of elegance. The finish is long, evoking spices with subtlety. A great success!

"Morgon Javernieres Les Impenitents 2011, from 60-year-old vines, offers black tea, spicy and salty walnut oil, nuances of alkaline sea breeze on the nose, with predictable scents of fresh blackberry. S' add aromas of grilled meat, licorice and herbs on a silky palate almost as if it were a Southern Syrah. The finish offers a sense of transparency of herbal and mineral nuances. The Gamay grape expresses itself admirably on this disintegrated sandstone and granite soil, with a mid-slope southeast exposure. Morgon La Voûte Saint-Vincent is a wine that opens with aromas reminiscent of small red fruits: blueberry, blackberry, and has good length with a fairly present tannic structure. A Morgon of choice!
