Domaine Mee Godard
Based in Morgon since 2013, Mee Godarda trained oenologist, is realizing her dream of producing her own cuvées on her small 5.40-hectare estate. Passionate about this terroir, she produces complex, elegant, lively wines from Gamay vieilles vignes planted at high density exclusively in the Morgon appellation. She highlights the Corcelette, Côtes du Py and Grand Cras climats.
In 2016, Mee Godard diversified its range with the acquisition of a new parcel in the Moulin à Vent appellation. Mee Godard is one of Beaujolais' rising stars, and his wines are already highly prized by wine lovers.

"All the style of Mee Godard at a low price".

This 2018 Beaujolais Villages calls for gourmandise, but is nonetheless structured and rich, offering good cellaring potential. The winemaker's signature style is still evident in this cuvée, combining finesse and richness. A great way to discover the appellation and the domaine at a small price. Such a fine Beaujolais Villages for ageing at this price, we'd love to buy it!

" Favorite for this Beaujolais red wine delivering musky aromas: the 2018 Cuvée Les Michelons from Domaine Mee Godard in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. Under a velvety gaze, the woodiness of Moulin-à-Vent Les Michelons' ageing tempts the nose with musky aromas. Its thick body is supported by a vibrant gas that stimulates the taste buds. A cuvée to cellar before serving." (La Revue du Vin de France - 2020)

Adorned with an intense violet color, this cuvée reveals a magnificent bouquet of finesse. The pulp intoxicates the palate, which capsizes on contact with a silky texture and tamed tannins. The persistence makes us salivate. A great bottle that promises ten years of cellaring.

"The intense burlat cherry color sweeps around the glass, while the nose reveals an intense patchouli fragrance on aeration. The juice is suave, with a mineral freshness worthy of its Côte du Py terroir. A wine to look forward to. (Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF)

"The nose is intense, juicy and peppery. The whole is ripe but fresh. For the moment, the woodiness coats the wine without dominating. The juice is dense and tight, with an intense structure that requires ageing. A serious wine". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2017 - RVF)
