Le Figaro
"Opaque ruby. Vibrant cherry and dark berry scents with mineral accents capture notes of succulent herbs, Moroccan spices, vanilla and candied flowers with air. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering densely packed black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors that are complemented by nuances of five-spice powder and mocha. All length and spice, with a resonant black fruit character and velvety tannins that gradually fade into the wine's juicy fruit." (Vinous A. Galloni) Attention, limited quantities.

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 16.5/20 (Reference wine)
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the wine:
Chiseled Gothic style. Noble vegetal base characterizes this noble austerity. Remarkable, creamy length. Uncompromising style. A lovely wine.
About the domain :
Jean-Jacques Parinet's ambitious and consistent renovation of the vineyard and winery is now delivering the expected results. Progress has been meteoric and production continues to dominate the appellation. He can rely on a talented team, made up of Édouard Parinet, their cellar master Brice Lafon and their communications manager Morgane Chambriard. A key player for the appellation and the region, and a formidable ambassador creating value and image in France and around the world.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2020 guide) 16.5/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
In Les Vérillats, rose reveals its old-fashioned charms with a hint of graphite. Wrapped in vinous flesh, it embodies the cool presence of terroir. It will grow with grace.
About the domain :
Since its acquisition by the Parinet family in 2009, this vast estate has invested considerable human resources in rejuvenating the wings of Moulin-à-Vent, like Château des Jacques in its day. In a modern Gamay style, with long, well-managed ageing in wood, the numerous parcel-based cuvées express the complexity and diversity of the soils. 2016 saw the arrival of the estate's first white vines (4.5 hectares) in the Mâcon and Pouilly-Fuissé appellations, under the name Roc des Boutires.

About the wine:
The climate of Les Vérillats, with its shallow, acidic granite soil, expresses itself in this floral, airy, fragrant cuvée, whose fresh, acidic mouthfeel revives its springtime allure.
