Château du Moulin-à-Vent
His 30-hectare estate is made up of 91 parcels of exceptional quality, belonging to the appellation's finest terroirs (Le Champ de Cour, La Rochelle, Les Vérillats, Les Thorins, La Roche, Les Caves...). Château du Moulin-à-Vent practices integrated vineyard management, with natural fertilization, manual weeding and minimal use of chemicals. The grapes are harvested by hand, in small containers, to avoid crushing the berries and oxidizing the juice. Thanks to its meticulous approach in both vineyard and cellar, Château du Moulin-à-Vent produces superb wines that reveal each terroir with finesse and elegance, vintage after vintage.

The Moulin-à-Vent La Rochelle 2016 shows great promise. It's the most complete and complex wine in the estate's range, massive yet very fine and long. Its nose of fruit and creamy vanilla extends to spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and deep, with pronounced tannins. Very promising!
