Hachette
"A cuvée from a terroir of just over 1 ha, where granitic sands and disintegrated manganese blend together. The vines here are around 50 years old. Jean-Marc Lafont has partially destemmed the grapes and mixed barrel and tank ageing. An unquestionable success, this moulin-à-vent seduces with its nose combining subtle raspberry, blackcurrant and floral notes, then with its richness on the palate, its power, balance and silky tannins". About the domain :
In the Lafont family for several generations, this estate perched on Bel-Air hill overlooks the Ardières valley: blue granite buildings constructed in 1849, vaulted cellars and a 23-hectare vineyard, with parcels in five crus. Jean-Marc Lafont has been at the helm of the estate since 1985, and has created a trading structure under his own name to complement his range.
