"This cuvée, the estate's largest in terms of volume, comes from a dozen hectares. It bears the first name of Didier Lagneau's father, and is distinguished here by its harmony, supple tannins, good concentration and aromas of red fruit, blackcurrant and a floral touch." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

Winemaking

This wine is the result of a semi-carbonic fermentation in whole bunches during 10 to 11 days of vatting, at temperatures between 28 and 30°C to allow the extraction of round and silky tannins, with notes of jammy black fruits, typical of the Régnié terroir.

About the wine:

This cuvée, the estate's largest in terms of volume, comes from a dozen hectares. Named after Didier Lagneau's father, it is distinguished by its harmony, supple tannins, good concentration and aromas of red fruit, blackcurrant and floral notes.

About the domain :

Didier Lagneau, the eighth generation, took over the family estate in 2018. He manages this estate, born from 4 ha of vines in the late 1970s and nestled in a quiet valley in Quincié. The vineyard now covers 19 ha. A (very) safe bet for Côte-de-Brouilly and Régnié.
