Straightforward and honest as an unbridled Calvinist, it's more a granite stele than a sphere, effectively dense and tight, with scents of lamiaceae and blackcurrant buds to then deliver notes of cinnamon, blackberry, bell pepper (surprising for a Merlot) and fur on the palate. Disagree with Henri G. who rates it only 3/5. At less than 5€ a bottle, this Bordeaux Supérieur is a bargain. Straightforward and honest as an unbridled Calvinist, it's more a granite stele than a sphere, effectively dense and tight, with scents of lamiaceae and blackcurrant buds to then deliver notes of cinnamon, blackberry, bell pepper (surprising for a Merlot) and fur on the palate.
