Château Canon Pécresse
In addition to offering one of the most beautiful views in the Saint-Émilion region, the Château Canon Pécresse is located on one of the finest terroirs on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. At the summit of the Canon Fronsac appellation, the Château Canon Pécresse 4.5 hectares of vines are planted on a plateau of outcropping limestone and deep clay, from which Merlot Noir and Cabernet Franc draw their minerality and the breed of this great wine.

Advised by Stéphane Derenoncourt, a Fronsac native by adoption and international consultant, Francis and Jean-Francis Pécresse, owners of Château Canon Pécresse, run this little gem that has become a Canon Fronsac benchmark. Their wines are well-balanced, intense and silky, ideal for long ageing.

" Magnificent nose of brambly fruit and blackcurrant jam. Good intensity on the palate, a rush of black fruit arrives before black spicy licorice joins with the saline mineral stone of the limestone terroir giving texture and complexity. A serious, sculpted and firm style, but with energy and dynamism. The texture is smooth and this has lovely precision with a bright juicy elevator at the end. One to seek out and a domain to watch." (Decanter 2022)
