"Sauvignon (86%) and Muscadelle are at the origin of this well-typed wine, tonic and lemony on the nose. The palate appears supple, tender and delicate, underlined by a well-felt hint of vivacity that provides good length." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018) A lovely white for seafood!

Wine rated (2018 guide) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
Domain rated (guide 2021) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
Sauvignon (86%) and Muscadelle are at the origin of this well-typed wine, tonic and lemony on the nose. Supple, tender and delicate on the palate, underlined by a hint of liveliness that lasts a long time.
About the domain :
Jean-Luc Buffeteau, who returned to the family land in 1998, manages 29 ha of vines on the rolling hills of the Entre-deux-Mers region, in the heart of the Sauveterrois, in the communes of Castelviel and Gornac. He produces two labels, La Grande Métairie and Haut Dambert.

I liked the balance between nose, mouth and length, with the Sauvignon expressing freshness and complexity.
