Château de La Dauphine
Château La Dauphine is a 53-hectare winegrowing estate located between Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion in Gironde. AOC Fronsac, it is one of the largest estates in the Libourne region.

Steeped in 350 years of history, the château was named in memory of the stay of the Dauphine de France (mother of Louis XVI). Château La Dauphine has changed owners over the years, and since 2015 has been owned by the Labrune family.

" Favorite from La RVF!"

"Château de la Dauphine 2016 is slightly more opulent than the 2015 with scents of black cherry, Dorest plum, black truffle and licorice, seductive but not quite exuding the same breeding as the previous vintage. The palate is medium-bodied, with supple tannins. It's consistent and velvety, with a fine touch of acidity and a judicious touch of white pepper mixed with clove on the finish. Finishes with a little more elegance than the nose suggests. A good, solid Fronsac, utterly delicious and worthy of the name ".
