Rated 16/20 (Very good wine)
About the wine:
Always well made and affordable. Complex nose, black fruit, smoke, subtle oak, deep mouthfeel, with a rich tannic structure, flavor, length and great freshness. Drink before 2027.
Guide Hachette des vins

About the domain :
Over the last few years, this small, southern Médoc cru has established itself as a safe bet. The wines here have been flawlessly consistent for several vintages now. A particular feature is the strong presence of Petit Verdot, a grape variety that has given rise to an original cuvée. Offering excellent value for money, the wines produced here have a place in any wine-lover's cellar.

Wine Enthusiast
Wine rated (2018 guide) 93/100
About the wine:
This is an already balanced wine, rich in tannin, bursting with ripe fruit and dense in texture. It has weight and richness thanks to the blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Petit Verdot, which give it great structure. Drink from 2025.

About the wine:
Aromas of blueberries and blackberries with hints of spice and damp earth. Medium- to full-bodied, with firm, silky tannins and a delicious finish. Very pretty and refined. Drink in 2020.

About the wine:
Deep, rich color, with aromas of boysenberry, cocoa, supple tannins and a spicy, ripe floral nose. You'll also appreciate the round, smoky black cherry notes on the finish.

A disappointing wine.

Another great success from an exceptionally good vintage. Perfect balance between optimally ripe dark berries, fresh spices and precise, well-adjusted oak, resulting in a full, deep, rich palate enveloped in a concentrated, fat and finely mellow body. Tannins of restrained power, supple and smooth. Delicately toasted aftertaste. High cellaring potential. In conclusion, a Haut-Médoc of great class and a level of quality rarely equaled in this price range. Condensed, ready-to-drink Bordeaux, ideal for duck breast with orange sauce. Score = 4.4.

Fan-tas-ti-que! Very well-balanced grape varieties and ageing (15% Petit Verdot). 19 à 19+/20. Black fruit, length, intense, powerful aromas...
