Decanter
Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100
About the wine:
Nose of baking spices, cinnamon and cloves, with some salty elements, a little closed in terms of fruit expression. Good intensity on the palate, with ripe, elegant black fruit and creamy, chalky tannins. The acidity maintains freshness and liveliness, and this wine seems harmonious and well-balanced. An excellent choice for fruit and freshness. Suave and charming. Drink quickly. This wine contains more Merlot, giving it bright fruit and a straightforward style. 2022 - 2036

Wine rated (2022 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
A fresher style of wine that offers layers of blackcurrant acidity. They accompany ripe tannins and announce richness as the wine matures. Drink from 2025.
James Suckling
Wine rated (2021 guide) 91/100
About the wine:
Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, damp earth, soy and smoke. Medium- to full-bodied, with firm tannins. Structured, with a fleshy texture and a fruity finish. Drink from 2023.

Yves Beck
Wine rated (2020 guide) 91-93/100
About the wine:
Dense garnet-red with violet highlights. Very intense bouquet combining breeding, floral and fruity notes. Crisp and slightly creamy on the palate. The tannins are juvenile, tight and in keeping with the liveliness of the structure. This wine has a little flesh and, above all, muscle, but it needs to gain in finesse and expression. Maturing will take care of that! A promising Belle-Vue with good ageing potential. 2024 - 2039
The Wine Cellar Insider - Jeff Leve
Wine rated (2022 guide) 91/100
About the wine:
Already expressive with notes of flowers, herbs, cedar, dark red fruits and tobacco leaves. The wine is medium-bodied, soft, fresh and polished, with a round, fruity finish. Belle-Vue (Haut-Médoc) is one of the few Bordeaux wines produced from 5 authorized grape varieties. Drink between 2023 and 2038.
