"Another revelation of the vintage in the southern third of the Médoc, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot is an elegant 2010 with impressive ripeness, a medium-bodied, textured palate, and abundant notes of cedar, blackcurrant intermixed with nuances of tobacco leaf, licorice and incense. Complex, evolved and ready to drink, it will continue to offer pleasure for at least 5-7 years." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2015 guide) 16/20 (Very good wine)
About the wine:
Fine woody nose. Superb mouthfeel, smoothness, very fine tannin, a great success.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (2014 guide) 2**Stars (Outstanding wine)
Domain rated (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the wine:
Vincent Mulliez, who passed away in May 2010, was sadly unable to see this fine harvest. His wife Isabelle and his children are now carrying on his work, with the same exacting standards, judging by this remarkable 2010. Dark garnet in color, dense and intense, the wine reveals a luscious bouquet of black fruits (blueberry), vanilla and toast, extended by a full, fat palate, backed by silky-smooth tannins. Already delicious, it deserves three to five years of patience to be appreciated at its best.
About the domain :
Over the last few years, this small, southern Médoc cru has established itself as a safe bet. The wines here have been flawlessly consistent for several vintages now. A particular feature is the strong presence of Petit Verdot, a grape variety that has given rise to an original cuvée. Offering excellent value for money, the wines produced here have a place in any wine-lover's cellar.

At the top of the Haut-Médoc appellation in terms of value for money. The fruit of fine ageing, Belle-Vue 2010 is a truly beautiful bottle, elegant yet powerful, with smooth, silky tannins and a long, lingering finish.
