90/100
Robert Parker
" Tasted at a 2010 Crus Bourgeois tasting in London, it has a classic graphite bouquet tinged with tobacco nuances, with an abundance of black fruit and superb definition. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine, pleasantly grippy tannins and a tobacco finish of great distinction. Lots of finesse. Drink now through 2018. " (Neal Martin's Wine Journal - eRobertParker.com). Located in the heart of the Médoc between Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, this is a Cru-Bourgeois with all the makings of a great wine. Enjoy this 2010 now with red meat or game, or cellar it for a few years...

Classic Haut-Médoc, straightforward, with firm, tight tannins. Astringent, with sustained acidity and oak. Bitter finish. On the same 2010 vintage, we're a long way from the balance and smoothness of Escurac, Belle-Vue or Charmail.
