Château Sénilhac is run by Loïs and Jean-Luc Grassin, who continue the work of their father Michel Grassin. The 20-hectare single vineyard is located on a clay-limestone terroir in the Bordeaux region, which reveals a large water reserve in its subsoil, invaluable in years of drought, giving Château Sénilhacharmony and richness. The combination of terroir and grape varieties makes Château Sénilhac a round, supple, sappy and fleshy Haut-Médoc wine. The Château Sénilhac vineyardproduces around 130,000 bottles. Vinification is carried out with care and attention, in a modern vat room that respects traditional know-how. The Château Sénilhac wine is then aged in carefully selected merrain oak barrels in an ageing cellar.
