Le Figaro
"Complex, multi-faceted bouquet with aromas of roasting, spices and fruity notes. Inviting character. Gradually, thefruity expression gains in importance. Salty, slightly creamy start. Fresh structure gives class and well-integrated tannins. Nice balance between the different elements. The wine still needs time to blossom, so some cellar ageing is in order." (Yves Beck 2019) - Delivered in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery).

Expert opinion
Wine Enthusiast
Rated wine (2019 guide) 91/100
About the wine:
Although the wine shows its ageing in wood, it brings out smooth black fruits and ripe tannins. It will evolve into a richly structured wine that will age well.
Jancis Robinson
Wine rated (2018 guide) 16.5/20
About the wine:
Deep purple. Lovely, fresh, lifted aromas of red and black fruit with a hint of cedar and a certain oak sweetness. The wine is supple on the palate, though the tannins are firm. Soft on the finish, but not hard. Needs a little time, but all the components are there if not yet fused. Smooth, chocolate-textured finish, with oak quite dominant at the very end.

Vert de Vin
Rated wine (2020 guide) 90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is racy, precise and slightly powerful. Notes of crunchy blackberry, wild crunchy red berries and, more lightly, lily are combined with fine touches of Cuban pepper, spices and a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, freshness and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/crisp blackcurrant, juicy/crisp raspberry and, more lightly, small red berries, combined with hints of violet, blueberry and licorice stick. Well-developed tannins. Good length.
