Médaille d'Or

Gilbert & Gaillard

A very successful blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, offers a nose of ripe fruit aromas with empyreumatic notes, where fruits such as prune and blackcurrant dominate. A well-balanced, complex wine, with roundness and charm, without masking freshness and minerality. A choice Lussac!

Wine rated (2014 guide) Gold Medal

About the wine:

Deep garnet-red color. Ripe fruit on a woody, vanilla-smoked background. On the palate, chewy, with fine, present tannins, aromatic maturity and a warm finish. A typical Lussac, still to be decanted.
