Château Prieuré-Lichine
The 70-hectare Château Prieuré-Lichine vineyard comprises parcels spread over the five communes of the Margaux appellation. The vines are planted with 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand.
Château Prieuré-Lichine wines are crafted with the utmost care, listening to the terroir and the vines, and managing the diversity of the parcels that make up the vineyard. Stéphane Derenoncourt, the château's oenologist, works with the help and advice of Michel Rolland to produce top-quality wines. Since 1973, Château Prieuré-Lichine has also produced a second wine in the Margaux appellation: Château de Clairefon.
