Château Siran
Château Siran became the property of the Miailhe family in the 19th century. The estate's terroir, located on the Labarde plateau in the Margaux appellation, is literally surrounded by 1855 Crus Classés. It's likely that if Château Siran 's wines had been presented at the famous 1855 exhibition, they would certainly have made it into the precious classification. In 2007, the 5th generation, represented by Edouard Miailhe, took over the management of the estate from his parents William-Alain and Brigitte Miailhe. Château Siran became one of the few Médoc grands crus to have been owned by the same family for over 150 years.

Produced on gravelly sandy soil, Siran wines are typical of the Margaux appellation's grands crus. Both powerful and fine, they always seek the perfect balance between tannin, fruit and acidity. Made under the aegis of the great oenologist Denis Dubourdieu, Château Siran is both charming in its youth, and long-lasting. It will surprise wine-lovers with the complexity of aromas developed over time.

"Worthy of a Cru Classé adorned with a collector's label!"

"Graphite and spice, slightly smoky, the nose of Siran 2020 is complex and fresh. The palate is fine and precise, fresh and delicate, for a margaux that is all delicacy, finesse and precision. All the delicacy of Margaux in this magnificent terroir. And what's more, it's elegantly fresh. A stylistic progression for this vintage, which was already a fine benchmark". (Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing 2021) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"An instant charm

"The 2019 S de Siran has a light nose of red fruit, a little earthy in style. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins and good density, and quite structured on the finish. A highly recommendable Second Vin. " (Vinous Neal Martin - 2021)
