"A multi-medalist nugget!

"The Labadie bouquet is very intense, with floral, fruity and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is slightly creamy, fruity and well supported by its structure. The tannins are compact, still a little angular, but provide fleshy backbone, complemented by muscular acidity ". (Yves Beck 2020)

Guide Hachette des vins

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine rated (guide 2022) 1*Star (Very successful wine)

About the wine:

The bouquet, closed at first, opens up slowly with aeration to liquorice wood and red fruit notes. The palate has a gentle attack, then rises noticeably in power and volume, carried by firm but not harsh tannins.

Vert de Vin

Vert de Vin

Rated wine (2019 guide) 89/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)

About the wine:

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity/concentration. There are notes of ripe blackcurrant, ripe wild raspberry and, to a lesser extent, morello cherry, combined with fine touches of licorice, dark chocolate and very fine hints of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Fruity, fresh, mineral and balanced on the palate, with good definition, juiciness, minerality and a little tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, juicy/full-bodied red berries and, more lightly, morello cherry, combined with fine floral touches and very fine hints of sweet spices and toast. A hint of varietal and dark chocolate on the finish. A very discreet hint of toast on the finish/persistence.
