"A Cru Bourgeois with a great track record!
"The bouquet first reveals its breeding through notes of caramel. These give way to dark berry notes after a little aeration. The wine is elegant, creamy and perfectly balanced thanks to smooth, well-integrated tannins. A full-bodied, fresh and charming wine that deserves a little ageing to develop its full potential". James Suckling
Rated wine (guide 2021) 90/100
About the wine:
This wine is rather chewy and austere with its tannins and wood character, but shows good depth and intensity. Some tomato leaves on the finish. To be tried after 2022.

Vert de Vin
Rated wine (guide 2022) 89-90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is quite aromatic. There are notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/fresh strawberry and, more lightly, flowers, combined with hints of nutmeg, toastiness and fine hints of fleshy/crushed blackcurrant. The palate is mineral, fruity, very tightly wound, with juiciness, stretch and minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and, more lightly, small red berry notes, combined with hints of iris, fresh rose, fine points of racy minerality and a subtle hint of toastiness and almond. Good length.
