"The bouquet first reveals its aging through notes of caramel. These give way to notes of black berries after a little aeration. The wine is elegant, creamy, and perfectly balanced thanks to smooth, well-integrated tannins. A full-bodied, fresh, and charming wine that deserves a little aging to blossom." (Yves Beck 2021)

James Suckling
Wine rated (2021 guide) 90/100
About wine:
This wine is rather chewy and austere with its tannins and woody character, but it shows good depth and intensity. A few tomato leaves on the finish. Try after 2022.

Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2022 guide) 89-90/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About wine:
The nose is quite aromatic. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, fresh, juicy strawberry and, more subtly, flowers combined with hints of nutmeg, toast and delicate touches of fleshy, crushed blackcurrant. The palate is mineral, fruity, very finely structured and offers juiciness, a slightly drawn-out aspect and a mineral texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and, more subtly, small red berries combined with hints of iris, fresh rose, subtle hints of racy minerality and a subtle hint of toast and almond. Good length.
