Château Lynch-Bages
Château Lynch-Bages is a Grand Cru Classé in the Pauillac appellation in the Bordeaux region. Extending over some 100 hectares in the commune of Pauillac, the vineyards of Château Lynch-Bages lie entirely on the soil favored by Grand Crus, formed along the estuary by the gravel alluvium of the Médoc.

Château Lynch-Bages wine is in line with the great AOC Pauillac wines. Composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon, it combines structure and finesse, elegance and longevity. It is also distinguished by its opulence. Generous in its youth, it evolves in its maturity towards greater flavor and complexity. Château Lynch-Bages is also characterized by extraordinary qualitative homogeneity. Powerful, racy and open, the wine acquires greater precision vintage after vintage, combining distinction with the hedonistic character that underpins its personality.

"The 1st vintage to be vinified in the new vat room, it's spectacular, all serenity and quiet strength!

"One of my favorite wines of the vintage, this is a wonderful example of high-definition winemaking, still offering plenty of Pauillac boldness. The nose is dark and slightly salty, full of black fruits and toasty aromas. The palate is bright and lively, with clarity and precision in the berries, juicy, mouth-watering acidity - there's so much energy in the glass. Chalky, graphite tannins fill the mouth, giving structure and clear terroir markers with a lingering minerality on the finish. Perfectly balanced, with incredible delectability and drinkability. Persistent with a long finish. Superb effort." (Decanter 2023) - Delivery in wooden case possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected)

"The house style expresses itself loud and clear!

"Echo de Lynch-Bages 2019 is an absolutely delightful second wine. Ripe, plummy and wonderfully forward. Echo 2019 is all pleasure. The signature style of the house is expressed loud and clear. Notes of spice, tobacco and cedar complete the creamy, inviting finish." "Aromas of redcurrants and fresh herbs. Medium to full body, soft juicy texture and long finish. Juicy but tight. Excellent second wine. Best in 2020." (James Suckling - 2017) Echo is an elegant and complex Pauillac, with blackberry, blackcurrant and red fruit aromas on the nose, as well as a peppery note. The attack is fresh and reveals a tannic structure with a savory finish... Up for grabs! - Delivery in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).

legendary wine

"With its purple-violets color, the Lynch-Bages 2016 begins with a powerful nose of cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, blackberries and a hint of menthol followed by scents of garrigue, tilled soil and an effluvium of tapenade. Medium-bodied, rich and wonderfully concentrated, the generous fruit is beautifully framed by ripe, fine-grained tannins with a touch of pepper, cinnamon and clove on the finish. Truly, a legendary Lynch-Bages " (Wine Advocate 2018 - Robert Parker) - Delivery in wooden case for all orders of 12 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).

Château Haut-Bages Averous 2003 - Second Vin du Château Lynch Bages

This Pauillac, in a sunny 2003 vintage, is marked on the nose by beautiful aromas of ripe red fruit, reminiscent of cherry, slightly kirschy, with a subtle balance between fruit and wood. The tannic attack is precise and non-aggressive, well blended. Pleasant on the palate, with the finesse of the wood and the roundness of the fruit, this is a classic, elegant, fresh wine with good staying power. Ready to drink!
