"L'Angelus is back in the Guide with the second wine of the vintage, made from 15 hectares of dedicated land. Le Carillon explores the full potential of Merlot (90%) on three very different terroirs. Aged half in new barrels and half in one-wine barrels for 16 months in this vintage, it benefits from the same care as its elder brother. No false notes for this beautifully balanced, gourmet wine, skilfully served by ripe, finely spiced fruit. On the palate, it's full-bodied without being excessive, rich, suave and long, supported by smooth, silky tannins. A tasty, ambitious second wine, to be enjoyed with a Bazas entrecôte steak". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2023) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"[...] Medium to full-bodied, rich and generously fruity, this wine is by no means heavy - it shimmers with freshness and vivacity, lending an airy nature to all that richness and power, beautifully framed by velvety tannins and finishing with epic length. The generosity, layers and richness of this wine make it absolutely DELICIOUS to drink now, but I suggest you wait another 3-5 years for the fireworks to really begin." "A historic portion of Cabernet Franc is included in the blend of this Angelus 2021. Every technical risk was taken, including a drastic selection process resulting in yields of 26 hl/ha. But these sacrifices have paid off: superb brilliance and definition on the nose, with a vertical, slender, racy, full-bodied perfume. A floral bouquet of peony, violet and lilac unfurls on a mattress of juicy blackcurrant. The palate is straightforward yet creamy to the core, built on a fine acid backbone, set with finely grained tannins, and unfurls an impeccable silkiness, thirst-quenching and invigorating. The high proportion of barrel ageing adds a very mellow woodiness. This is a great success". (Terre de Vins 2022) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"Garnet red with violet highlights. What elegance and complexity! The ageing fades and gives way to notes of black fruit, spices and a pleasant floral touch. Subtle touches of licorice and graphite. With aeration, notes of red fruit emerge. Silky, rich attack. On the palate, the wine is creamy, with powerful yet elegant tannins. They are perfectly integrated and in symbiosis with a healthy acidity that confers freshness and carries the fruit through to the finish. The finish is fine and persistent. What a great success! This Angélus is impressive and marks a new era, respectively an achievement; We are definitely in the big league!"
