Château Jean Faure, in Saint-Emilion near Bordeaux, is owned by Olivier Decelle, a true vine and wine enthusiast. In 1999, he took over the remarkable Mas Amiel estate (Roussillon) and turned it into an undeniable success with a worldwide reputation. A passion that led him a few years later to Bordeaux to take over three properties with a prestigious past, Château Jean Faure, Château Haut-Maurac, and Château Haut-Ballet, located among the most beautiful terroirs on the right and left banks of Bordeaux. Château Jean Faure is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation wine.

A thorough reorganization, unfailing rigor in the cellars and vineyards, and the talent of their new owner, surrounded by a team of passionate people, have restored these estates, and Château Jean Faure in particular, to their former glory. The entire vineyard is managed using sustainable agriculture practices. Leaf removal, debudding, green harvesting, and tilling between the rows of vines are all carried out to ensure optimal yields and grape quality worthy of these prodigious Bordeaux terroirs.
