Château Jean Faure
Château Jean Faure, in Saint-Emilion near Bordeaux, is owned by Olivier Decelle, a true enthusiast for vines and wine. In 1999, he took over the destiny of the remarkable Mas Amiel estate (Roussillon), turning it into an undisputed success and making it world-renowned. A few years later, this passion led him to the Bordeaux region, where he took over three estates with prestigious pasts: Château Jean Faure, Château Haut-Maurac and Château Haut-Ballet, located in some of the finest terroirs on Bordeaux's right and left banks. Château Jean Faure is now a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation wine.

An in-depth reorganization, unfailing rigor in the cellars and vineyards, and the talent of their new owner, surrounded by a team of passionate people, have restored these estates, and Château Jean Faure in particular, to their former splendors. The entire vineyard is run using sustainable agriculture methods. Leaf thinning, de-budding, green harvesting and tillage between the rows of vines are used to ensure optimum yields and grape quality worthy of these prodigious Bordeaux terroirs.

"A brilliant success on an exceptional terroir!

"Fresh, crystalline nose, very pure, fresh and vibrant. What brilliance! Black fruit and light spice. Very ripe. On the palate, it's equally crystalline, straightforward, tractable, without excessive acidity and with remarkable precision of grain. Menthol. Salinity and undeniable emotional presence. A chiseled, dazzling Jean Faure. Quite simply superb" (Anthocyanes 2021) A neighbor of the legendary Château Cheval Blanc, Jean Faure benefits from an exceptional terroir farmed organically - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

"Along with Cheval Blanc, this is the freshest, most distinguished wine in Saint-Emilion's north-western sector in 2015. The alcohol remains very restrained in this long form. Floral and earthy at the same time, the flavor is dominated by the taut expression of old Cabernet Franc." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2018 - RVF) Delivery in wooden case for all orders of 1 bottle of this wine.

"Quite powerful, very harmonious, violet flavor from the Figeac sector, good length, quality wine, still very favorable value for money." (Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2014). Intense aromas of mixed black and red fruits, with a delicate hint of spice... - Delivery in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine.
