Château Quinault l'Enclos
Château Quinault L'Enclos is located in the heart of Libourne. In 2008, Baron Frère and Bernard Arnault, Chairman of the LVMH Group, acquired the estate, seduced by Quinault's potential, its fine gravel terroir worthy of the greatest, and its reputation.

This 20-hectare estate, close to the Dordogne river, benefits from a micro-climate ideal for growing vines. The Cheval Blanc team, led by Pierre Lurton, takes the utmost care of the vineyard. The warm gravelly soil is ideal for high-quality production.

The grape varieties of Château Quinault L'Enclos is classic and typical of the right bank of the Garonne: Merlot dominates (83%), with Cabernet Franc (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) rounding out the grape varieties. The average age of the vineyard is 45 years, and the oldest vines in production date back to 1934. These old vines make up a very interesting genetic heritage. They produce complex grapes while keeping yields low.

Like the wines of Cheval Blanc, the wine of Château Quinault L'Enclos is vinified with fruit, precision and elegance, with soft tannins that delight the senses.

"Dark, intense, slightly evolved color. Very aromatic and quite subtle nose, blending creamy and southern nuances. On the palate, this 2019 proves to be one of the most meticulously textured wines I know. The mouthfeel is fine, the body slender and melting and the whole full of charm." (Jean-Marc Quarin 2022) - Delivered in wooden cases for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery).
