Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing
"Dark, intense, slightly evolved color. Very aromatic and quite subtle nose, blending creamy and southern nuances. On the palate, this 2019 proves to be one of the most meticulously textured wines I know. The mouthfeel is fine, the body slender and melting and the whole full of charm." Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2011) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Estate rated (2014 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
"Located in the heart of Libourne, this estate was acquired in 2008 by the former shareholders of Château Cheval Blanc, Bernard Arnault and Baron Albert Frère. Pierre-Olivier Clouet, a close associate of Pierre Lurton, took over the reins, with the aim of revitalizing an old vineyard that has now been fully worked. A naturally fine wine, made from light gravel, which "turns out to be more complex than one might imagine", explains its director. "
James Suckling
Wine rated (guide 2022) 94/100
About the wine:
Very fine, linear tannins make it mineral and long. Black fruit with hints of lavender and violet. Very fresh acidity. Tasty and fine.
Le Figaro vins
Wine rated (guide 2022) 93.5/100
About the wine:
A gourmand, fruity wine, generous and summery, with a lighter smoky nuance than before for this little brother of Cheval Blanc, which this year has gained in precision. On the palate, too, we find the smokiness so characteristic of Quinault in notes of tea-smoked duck breast, as well as hints of spice, cinnamon and star anise. The palate, with its satiny texture, is extremely fluid. It ends on a soft, voluptuous finish, like a long velvet train disappearing behind the trees.
Yves Beck
Wine rated (guide 2021) 92/100
About the wine:
The density of Quinaut l'Enclos's nose suggests an extraordinary wine. It displays a dazzling freshness of red berries and mint. This freshness is also omnipresent on the palate. The wine is juicy and the tannins are tight, yet integrated. A fine Quinault success story!

Vert de Vin
Rated wine (guide 2021) 94-95/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is fruity, fresh and taut, offering purity and a touch of complexity. Notes of pulpy blackberry, blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, violet are combined with touches of lilac, ripe black berries and a hint of nutmeg. The palate is leaked, balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, salinity, definition and sapidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant, pulpy raspberry and, more lightly, fleshy blue berries, combined with hints of nutmeg, hazelnut and discreet hints of pretty bitters, cocoa and fresh flowers. Precise, elegant tannins. Good length. Presence of a nice little varietal hint that brings pep / energy to the finish / persistence.
Anthocyanes - Yohan Castaing
Rated 91/100
About the wine:
Nose of flowers, violets, lilac, fresh fruit for a delicate, fresh bouquet. On the palate, tension, movement and a vibrant texture with depth and a certain breed, particularly in the tannins, which are perfectly integrated. What freshness!
