Château Le Crock is in the hands of the Cuvelier family, wine merchants in Lille since 1804, who since 1920 have presided over the destiny of the prestigious Château Léoville Poyferré, 2nd Cru Classé in the Saint-Julien appellation, which extends its 80-hectare vineyard in the heart of the Médoc. This estate, which receives the same care as Léoville Poyferré, is surrounded by the Grands Crus Classés ChâteauCos d'Estournel and Château Montrose and comprises 32 hectares of vines. The oldest, best-situated vines produce the grand vin of Château Le Crock, while the others make up the second wine, La Croix Saint-Estèphe.
