Château Gloria
Château Gloria is one of the best vineyards in the Saint-Julien appellation, with a subsoil of sandy-clay gravel. The grape varieties are classic, with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Château Gloria was one of the first to believe in Petit Verdot, an excellent grape variety that was probably grown in the Médoc long before Cabernet Sauvignon. A variety that brings color to blends, as well as extra aromatic, tannic and alcoholic richness.
The vines at Château Gloria are 80 years old, while others are 30 years old. The average age of the vines is around 45 years. Château Gloria 's vineyards are remarkably well-situated and meticulously tended. Its yield per hectare averages 45 hectolitres, with a planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare.

"Such a deep, concentrated nose, full of ripe blackcurrants and black cherries. Great intensity and concentration on the palate, some dark spice, licorice, black pepper and cinnamon notes on the edges, all accompanied by layers of juicy, succulent ripe fruit. Definitely a full, bold wine. Real power here, but elegant and energetic. If you like the gourmet style, this is an excellent one".
