"It's because the winemaking is done naturally that the domaine's wines breathe their terroir. All the more so when they come from old vines, like this remarkable cuvée. Fourteen months of barrel ageing also forges character. On the nose, red fruits assert themselves, enhanced by spicy notes. These aromas are echoed on the full, fleshy palate, with well-melted tannins and a long, fresh finish" (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021).

About the domain :
The Yonne village of Saint-Bris is home to several Bersans. Founded in 2009 after a family split, Jean-Louis and Jean-Christophe's estate covers 22 ha in the communes of Chablis, Irancy and Saint-Bris, and is farmed organically (certified since 2012).
