"Aromas of cherries, sweet berries, smoke, spices and petals herald the 2019 Irancy, a medium-bodied, lively and succulent wine that has been aged 100% in barrel. This is a very well-made wine ". (Wine Advocate 2021). The 2019 Irancy from this promising Maison presents a beautiful, expressive nose of stone fruit, with energetic juice. A fine finesse is revealed on the palate, with tannins that are still tight.

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The great adventure continues for Grégory Viennois and Delphine Carré, alongside their respective activities for domaines Laroche. This pure red wine merchant in the Irancy appellation was missing from the region's landscape, especially since they launched with the splendid 2015 vintage. In 2016, they preferred to blend everything into a single cuvée, but the 2017s feature the now customary three cuvées, with an absolutely splendid beaux-monts. Reserve your cuvées early at the domaine!

About the domain :
A very young négoce founded in 2015 by Delphine and Grégory Viennois. The former comes from a family of winegrowers and has worked in some of Burgundy's top houses. The second, also from Burgundy and with a degree in oenology, has a fine CV: he learned the trade with Nadine Gublin (Dom. Jacques Prieur) and Jean-Pierre de Smet (Dom. de l'Arlot), vinified at Ch. Smith-Haut-Lafitte, was technical director of Michel Chapoutier and general manager of Ferraton Père & Fils. Since 2011, he has been technical director of Dom. Laroche in Chablis and has been a consultant to Quinta Do Monte d'Oiro in Portugal since 2006.
