"Marsannay Clos de Jeu 2021 has a fragrant, fairly rich nose, in keeping with the appellation's style, very pure and floral. The palate is slightly acidic on the attack. The fruit profile is a little darker than on the nose, with a rather short but fresh finish." (Vinous 2023). A lovely Marsannay to savor!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
In 2012, Olivier Halley, a descendant of the family that owns Promodès and is a shareholder in Carrefour, bought this 40-hectare estate, including 28 hectares of Marsannay, at the same time as Château de Meursault, and entrusted its management to Stéphane Follin-Arbelet. The investments in cultivation, techniques and human resources that had to be made because the estate had fallen on hard times are beginning to pay off. Sylvain Pabion, who previously worked at Bertrand Minchin's Clos Delorme, has joined the château to run the business and manage the reception area. A large reception room here can accommodate up to 350 seated guests, a rarity in Burgundy winegrowing.
