Marsannay Castle
Since 2012, Château de Marsannay has belonged to the Halley family, who also own Château de Meursault in Côte de Beaune. Keen to maximize the estate's potential, Olivier Halley has implemented an investment program in the vineyard and winery.

The Château de Marsannay estate covers nearly 34 hectares, starting in the north with the Bourgogne "Montre-Cul" in Dijon and ending in the south with the Clos de Vougeot vineyards. The team also farms nearly 4 hectares of vineyards belonging to the Hospices de Dijon. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable methods, and controlling yields and grape quality is a constant challenge. Finally, the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand by a team of 100 pickers.

The cellars of Château de Marsannay are vaulted in the purest Burgundian tradition and paved with stone from Meuilley, a small village near the Côte. Built on the model of the Cistercian cellars of Château de Meursault, they extend over two levels and descend to a depth of 9 meters. The wines are aged at a constant temperature of 15°C and the floors are regularly watered to maintain a constant level of humidity. The cellars can store around 500 wine barrels and up to 400,000 bottles.
